Job Description:
A concrete finisher is a skilled trades person who places, pours, and finishes concrete for construction projects. They use a variety of hand and power tools to ensure the concrete is the desired depth, form, and pitch. Concrete finishers may work on concrete floors, sidewalks, roads, curbs, and more.
Some of the responsibilities of a concrete finisher include:

- Preparing the sub-grade: Preparing the sub-grade for concrete placement
- Constructing forms: Constructing forms for concrete placement
- Leveling and finishing: Leveling and finishing concrete surfaces
- Curing: Curing the concrete
- Sawing: Sawing cuts into the concrete
- Grinding: Grinding fresh concrete and similar materials
- Removing forms: Removing forms after the concrete has been placed
- Loading and unloading: Loading and unloading equipment, tools, and materials
- Applying compounds: Applying hardening and sealing compounds to cure the concrete

Experience: Min. 3 years of experience in commercial concrete finishing.
Salary: Pay is negotiable and will be determined based on experience and background of candidates.
Areas of Operation: Our office is located in Deland, Florida and most work will be performed on job sites. Current projects are located in Central Florida, primarily Orlando, Tampa, and Ft. Myers areas, but may be required to travel beyond these scopes.

Job Description:
Offering a position scope for our shell construction company where the primary responsibility is to assist senior estimators by analyzing project plans, performing quantity takeoffs, gathering cost data from vendors, and compiling information to help create accurate cost estimates for construction projects, typically under close supervision and guidance from more experienced team members; requiring strong attention to detail, basic understanding of construction materials and methods, and proficiency in reading blueprints and construction documents.
