About Us

Meet our Designer & Builder - Chris grew up in the Southern Suburbs of Detroit, Michigan.  In 1988 at the age of 18, he started a profitable handyman service with a friend and partner before deciding to serve his country in the United States Army in August of 1991.  By November of 1996 after more than 5 years in military service both domestically and overseas, he exited with an Honorable Discharge earning Combat Veteran status, as well as many awards, commendations, and recommendations.  Chris moved to Orange City, Florida and started working in the construction industry.  He then founded Weldon Design Group, Inc. in 2003 and has been helping clients create both dream homes and commercial & investment properties from little more than an idea.

Since its beginning, Weldon Design Group, Inc. has been published in the Orlando Sentinel, contracted with a National Home Plan website & Print Publishing Company, and awarded "Professional Building Designer" status through A.I.B.D. (The American Institute of Building Design).  In 2007, Chris was appointed to the City of Orange City Florida Planning and Zoning Commission and served for more than 5 years.  As a resident and business owner of Orange City, Chris felt it was his responsibility to help sculpt the future of the city for generations to come.  Chris also sat on the Board of Directors of CCLA, Inc., a not-for-profit pre-school in Debary, Florida, and Orlando Christian Flying Club, Inc. in Sanford Florida.

In 2019, Chris and Robert formed a partnership to create a residential and commercial construction company now known as WW Build, Inc.  Their goal was to combine their strengths to create a platform that will give its clients the best possible service and quality available in the industry today.

In 1998 Chris attended Comair Aviation Academy in Sanford, FL and received his Commercial Pilots License (S.E.L., Instrument Rating, High Performance & Complex Aircraft Endorsements.) and currently uses his aviation background to shoot Aerial Photography around the Central Florida Area.  In 2019, Chris went back to school and finished his Commercial Pilots Certificate at Epic Aviation Academy in New Smyrna, Florida.  From 2001-2003 Chris also attended Seminole State College and received an A.S. Degree in Computer Network Design and Administration and is A+ and Network+ Certified with a background in Novell Networks and Microsoft Business & Server Networks.

With his well-rounded background in construction and non-construction related fields, his knowledge and experience become a great asset to his clients and WW Build, Inc.
